On|Off A/W 2009/10

The business of fashion, in its modern guise, is about to have a tidy make over and its all happening in the watering hole of SW7. OnlOff happens to be one of my favourite event production houses and I'm really looking forward to this seasons OnlOff experience. Running from Saturday 21st until Tuesday 24th February 2009 at a new venue of major convenience, Level 2 of the Science Museum, South Kensington. Well done to OnlOff for securing an excellent location, a skip and a hop away from The British Fashion Council tent and Vauxhall Fashion Scout this will make a huge difference to press and buyers, meaning easy access and la lot ess mileage. The theme for the new space is ‘white on white’ and will feature an exhibition area, housed in softly lit inflatable walls! and a showcase which includes Carianne Moore-Harding, Darkest Star, Lorena De La Torre, Jasper Garvida, Reem and Louise Buchan

Lastly with eco-chic becoming a permanent fixture to the fashion agenda OnOff in association with the London College of Fashion have launched ‘OnOff Reinvents’ a competition that draws attention to the growing importance of sustainable fashion. LCF MA design Graduate winners Yun Ju Ko, Rohan Kale, Hsiang Ju Kung and ‘Collection of the Year’ winner, Manjit Deu have created outfits using OnOff‘s 10th season celebratory banner from September 2008. I recognise some of these names so I'll definitely be doing a follow up post.
