London Fashion Week 20th - 25th Feb is a few days away, this season there's an air of excitement and expectation, seating and standing room have been pruned, mirroring the mood of other fashion weeks this season, notably New York. However limited space necessity's mother, invention, will no doubt raise the bar and shower us the wonderful delights that only operating in a recession can bear. Opening night I'll be supporting fellow London College of Fashion cohorts at their one off pop-up event. For one night only 6.30pm - 9.30pm the Fashion Curation and Fashion Journalism from LCF will be joining forces (strength in numbers!) at Young British Designers: Mapping Future Fashion Private View at the Sackler Centre, Victoria and & Albert Museum Cromwell Road SW7.
At 7.30pm I'll be nipping out, across the road to the British Fashion Council tent West Lawn Tent for Central Saint Martins Show and later in the week I'll getting in the action back stage at Confessions of a Shopaholic European Premiere on Monday and the Simply Madonna exhibition later in the week. So as the pomp and grandeur of final preparation come together and tickets arrive in the mail, I'll keep the blog posted with as many scoops as possible.
