Promo Video & Flower for Kate V Mag 2008
Double nice surprise yesterday afternoon, the Sunday postman on his overtime shift (due to the Royal Mail strike) delivered mail I'd long given up as lost in transit. He also brought me a ticket to the private view of SHOWstudios Fashion Revolution exhibition. This will be one of my London Fashion Week highlights. I have a special interest as well as being in awe of the genius mad scientists at work ideas machine that continues to inspire and pump out an endless stream of amazing works I'm knee deep into research around the meeting of 'Fashion Film' and fashion marketing tools so i'm extremely! looking forward to seeing new works.
Over the past 9 years SHOWstudio has literally changed the face of fashion communication and the concept of 'Fashion on Film' as a brand new and revolutionary fashion marketing format has taken off big time. I caught the bug after having the studio webcam as my homepage for a very long while, watching the projects come together at a time when fashion websites were dare I say it .. random was crazy exciting, a big brother of fashion concept! (brand new at that time). Watch people you didn't know at work, watch shoots from behind as well as in front of the camera was different to any other website I knew at that point. SHOWstudio shook things up as they continue to do.
