London Fashion Week Digital Schedule

Because I've been researching 'fashion films' on the Fashion Week schedule, part of the process has involved keeping an eye on London Fashion Weeks website to see which designers have decided to go with alternatives to a standard presentations. Stuck at it in spite of a few issues convincing the powers that be and almost threw the towel in on my own research when one lonely listing appeared then disappeared!

As I uncross my fingers of hope and breathe a sigh of relief the BFC are definitely taking the lead on the digital runway. I'm very relieved to see that between 19th - 24th Feb London Fashion Week are launching a LFW Digital Schedule
"London Fashion Week is the first of the leading four global fashion weeks to fully embrace digital media into its twice yearly showcase. All designers showing in the official show venue at London Fashion Week will have the opportunity to live stream their show, reaching a larger audience of both industry professionals and consumers... BFC will be driving audiences to the Digital Schedule through e-marketing, Facebook and Twitter.

Good to see Imran Ahmed (Business of Fashion) London's chief Fashion 2.0 spokes person on the digital committee. Full details of the official schedule follow next so in the interim we know that Hussein Chalayan will present three of his most iconic films. Boudicca will be screening a film from their archive, other designers presenting films include Antoni & Alison, Cassette Playa, Craig Lawrence, Danielle Scutt, JW Anderson, LP.BG and Twenty8Twelve.
