Tuesdays Child Orla Kiely A/W 10/11

Day one London Fashion Week, first show.. Orla Kiely A/W 10/11. We do enjoy a
well planned presentation so we loved the production and the brunch trays.
Also love the idea of live models, only wish looked a little less serious in O.K's
cute and playful looks. Took us a second to realise the space at Somerset House
had been divided into two so for most part we watched the presentation from the
space closet to the balcony windows which let in alot of natural light and created a really
relaxed ambience, could have hung out in there for while! But we came to see a collection!

Next season expect to see more timeless classics and some new additions to Orla Kiely's lifestyle collection. Completely bought into the O.K easy to wear, graceful comfort culture. The bold strip shift dresses looked very comfortable. Slin fit woollen coats cuts and bold buttons reminded me of the 1960's mod coats. Signature pieces have been updated with new leaf prints which I loved on her handbags and wallpaper patent. She's been experimenting with new fabrications like the patent leather bags, a slight departure from coated cottons but a nice one all the same.
