We've got the Essie Blues

Saturday was a gorgeous sunny spring day in London Town so Leigh and I decided to get our pedicure on at Julie Nails (that's not a typo, that's what it says on the sign!). We headed down to Kensington Church Street and prepared to be pampered. What we didn't prepare for was the intensity of the massage chairs (worth the entire cost of the pedi) and ended up oohing, ahhhing and giggling like a pair of very naughty school girls as we had our feet rubbed, scrubbed, buffed and polished to near perfection .

We chose our lush colours from Essie's latest resort collection; Turquoise and Caicos for me and Mesmerize for Ms Leigh. Afterwards we couldn't stop looking at our funked up ( in a good way) toes. For me that's always a very good sign of a happy customer. In fact we managed to snap some pictures of another happy customer outside the salon as she waited for her toes to dry in the sunshine. She happily obliged and said she thought that her toes looked 'fantastique' ..we agree! Essie always brings it with the most fab colours which do last a long time sans chipping .This seasons collection really delivers in terms of catwalk inspired colours and 'street-cred-worthiness', available at Liberty's and Julie Nails priced at £8.95 per bottle, Essie nail colours are our fave affordable luxury du jour here at Style Canteen.

Hi Heidi,
I am still taking sneaky peeks at my Essie toes . Their colours are outrageously fab . Do send us a pic of your Essie's toes , would love to know what colour you chose and of course get your opinion on the 'massage' chairs..ahem!
